Garden box project
We are so impressed with our construction kids! We got a total of 14 garden boxes built in just three days. We had all hands on deck to try to get them done due to the announcement of online school, and we succeeded!
This is a fundraiser to help us provide a more robust option offering in our school. Construction is just one of the ideas we are working on... stay tuned over the next several months!
Mr. Barfuss, our principal, organized the project and partnered with the Pincher Creek Coop to get our lumber at a very generous discount. Mr. Demes, our custodian, was a big help as well with his woodworking experience.
Grade 9 student Judy Thiessen put in more hours than any other student and we thank her for getting us through the home stretch!
