Spring Glen Duck Race is now on!

You may have heard the rumors… and they’re true! Spring Glen Junior High and Spring Glen Elementary are holding a Duck Race fundraiser on Friday, September 27. It is sponsored by the Cardston Rotary Club and will be held on the Leavitt irrigation canal. 

Here’s how it works: over the next two weeks, students will ‘sell’ rubber ducks to be entered in the race. We will put 1000 rubber ducks into the canal on the 27th and the first several ducks to cross the finish line will win their buyer a cash prize. 

There will also be prizes for the students who sell the most ducks – top student in each class, top class in each school, top student in each school, and top family across both schools. 

There are only 1000 ducks available, so buy early and encourage your students to get selling so they don’t miss out either!

Proceeds will go towards improvements at each school. The elementary is planning on upgrades to their gym equipment and the junior high is planning on upgrades to technology.
