Now that we have transitioned from a K-9 school to a 6-9 junior high, we have decided it's time to update the mural in our front foyer. The fantastic jungle scene, complete with stained glass panther, was completed in 2003 by Heinz and Patricia Demes of Demes Art Glass Studios, and has been a beautiful focal point of our school. Still, we would like an updated image more reflective of our current student body.
We are taking ideas from the students and community of what the new mural might be. Please see the attached documents if you have ideas to share. You can drop them off at the school or email april.demes@westwind.ab.ca.
